Founded in 1992, ATP Welding, Inc. has been a cornerstone of welding supply and metal fabrication services in central Indiana. Initially launched by Rick and Joyce Scott offering mobile welding services and installations for both industrial and sporting equipment, ATP Welding quickly expanded its operations. In 1999, the business secured its first permanent facility in Boone County, which not only bolstered its mobile service offerings but also enabled the opening of a retail location stocked with a diverse range of welding supplies and steel products. The facility underwent further expansion in 2008 to accommodate larger fabrication projects while ensuring the steel warehouse's operations continued smoothly.
In 2022, ATP underwent a transition when the original owners retired, leading to its acquisition by North American VRC, aiming to continue its legacy of quality service.
