Bulldog Lock and Safe LLC is a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 1938 when it was founded by Clarence Uhlig in McKeesport, PA. In 2001, the business relocated to Meadville, PA, where it continued to thrive under the leadership of Thomas Uhlig, who joined his father as an apprentice in 1972 and dedicated over 45 years to the locksmith and safe industry. Following Tom's retirement in March 2021, the company was sold to Mike Nageotte, and the name transitioned from Uhlig's Locksmith to Bulldog Lock and Safe.
