Gary Southard Construction (GSC) is a reputable construction company located in North Florida, founded and led by Gary Southard since 1994. With a rich history in the construction industry stretching back to the 1970s, Gary honed his skills initially working alongside his father and later under the mentorship of George Rone at R-One Investments. This experience ignited his passion for building and entrepreneurship, leading him to establish GSC in Bronson, FL.
GSC specializes in both commercial and residential construction and expanded its offerings in 2013 to include roofing services, which is overseen by Gary's son-in-law, Joshua Pardo. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Gary approaches every project with the care and precision as though it were his own home. His commitment to excellence is reflected in the strong relationships he has built with clients and the community, rooted in integrity and craftsmanship.
Gary holds both a general contractor’s license and a roofing license, continuously enhancing his skill set through ongoing education and certification courses. In addition to new construction, GSC also engages in rehabilitation projects, remodeling, and demolition, adapting to the unique challenges of each job. Gary is also a licensed home inspector, further broadening GSC's capabilities.
Beyond work, Gary enjoys tinkering with motors and has a passion for racing circle-track stock cars throughout the Southeastern United States. Married for 39 years, he has two daughters and four grandchildren, embodying the values of family and community that GSC stands for. GSC remains steadfast in its mission to deliver exceptional construction services while nurturing strong community ties.
