In 2001, the Gergely family expanded their business by acquiring Dasco Paper Company, based in Ashtabula, Ohio, which specializes in catering supplies, janitorial products, and party supplies. This move strengthened their service offering for various customers, including restaurants, schools, and event planners. An additional acquisition in 2011 saw them incorporate The San Bay Company in Sandusky, Ohio, which specializes in restaurant equipment and supplies. This expansion has allowed Gergely's Maintenance King to comprehensively serve Northern Ohio's needs in both janitorial and restaurant sectors.
