Jorgensen Grading (JG) is a family-owned and operated grading and excavation company that has been serving the Omaha metro area for three generations. Founded by Dane Jorgensen, who grew up immersed in the grading industry due to his family's long-standing legacy, JG prides itself on providing high-quality services to both commercial and residential clients. The story of JG is deeply rooted in a love for dirt work, beginning with Dane's grandfather, James Jorgensen, who started moving dirt in the 1950s. This passion for grading was passed down to Dane through his father, Dana, who operated a grading company in the 1980s.
From a young age, Dane was fascinated with heavy machinery, and by the time he reached high school, he had already begun building his own landscaping business. His relentless ambition led him to purchase his first dump truck during college, where he started the groundwork for his future company. After officially founding DEJ Grading LLC and securing significant contracts, he eventually rebranded the business as Jorgensen Grading in 2017.
Under Dane's leadership, JG has expanded rapidly, employing 17 skilled professionals and continually updating its equipment to ensure efficiency and quality service. The company specializes in large grading contracts and maintains a strong reputation for integrity and craftsmanship.
