Mustain Glass Company, now known as Piedmont Glass, was established in 1954 by Hidy and Ott Mustain in Danville, Virginia. Over the past 63 years, Piedmont Glass has expanded its services to encompass a wide array of glass-related needs, including furniture tops, mirrors, shower doors, storm doors, and windows, catering to a variety of custom requirements.
In 1990, the company underwent a significant transition when Hidy Mustain retired, leading to the acquisition by the Cassada family and its renaming to Piedmont Glass. In the years that followed, the company moved to its current location at 124 Mall Drive, where it continues to serve customers in south-central Virginia and north-central North Carolina.
